The Mixer Module is a high-performance static mixer engineered to efficiently dissolve gases into liquids under high-pressure conditions. Designed for seamless integration into your workflow, it supports a wide variety of gases and liquids. The Hastelloy (C276) variant further expands its capabilities by enabling safe operation with corrosive reagents. Fully compatible with other ThalesNano instruments—including the Phoenix flow systems—the Mixer Module provides streamlined, comprehensive control over your laboratory processes.
How does the Mixer Module work?
The module can work easily with with the Phoenix Flow Reactor to allow different gases to be mixed into liquids up to 200 bar pressure. Reactions, such as carbonylations or oxidations, can be performed at high pressures, widening the reactor’s chemistry ability significantly.
- A type of gas and a type of liquid are introduced into the Mixer Module under pressure.
- The gas is injected through the microscopic pores into the flowing liquid phase, which ensures efficient mixing and solution.
